Dear ERCOFTAC Members,
Please note that the deadline for the early registration for the course: Best Practice Guidelines Course “CFD for Dispersed Multi-Phase Flows 2026 with Problem Shooting Session and Posters” is due on the 15th of August 2026. After this date, the registration fee will increase by €50.

The course will take place on the 12th - 14th October 2026 at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece and it appeals to researchers and engineers involved in projects requiring CFD for turbulent dispersed multi-phase flows with bubbles, drops, or particles.
This course is one of few in the community that is specifically designed to deliver:
- best practice guidance
- the latest trends in CFD for dispersed multi-phase flows
- many application examples
Participants are offered the opportunity:
- to present their work via 10-minute presentations (problem-shooting session), thereafter, the lecturers can offer prospective solution.
- to display a poster about their ongoing research work to enhance the exchange and discussion between the participants. The posters should have the format A0 which is 900 mm x 1200 mm at maximum. The participation at the poster session requires prior registration at:martin.sommerfeld@ovgu.de

Encontra-se aberta uma chamada internacional para uma posição de pós-doutorado com duração de dois anos em uma instituição europeia, destinada a pesquisadores de qualquer nacionalidade. O programa oferece excelente financiamento, incluindo remuneração competitiva e recursos para participação em conferências e realização de períodos de pesquisa em outras instituições, inclusive no país de origem do candidato.
A proposta deverá ser elaborada conjuntamente pelo candidato e por um supervisor da instituição anfitriã. Trata-se de uma chamada altamente competitiva e de grande reconhecimento internacional, cujos selecionados apresentam excelentes perspectivas de inserção acadêmica permanente na Europa.
O prazo para submissão se encerra em setembro, e a chamada é aberta anualmente.
