CIRP - Conference on Surface Integrity 2022

We are pleased to remind you the next 6th CIRP Conference on Surface Integrity to be held in Lyon, France, 8-10th June 2022.

 

This conference is dedicated for presenting the most recent scientific and technical advances on Surface Integrity. We hope this event will be a great opportunity to present our knowledge and latest developments. After the Covid-19 pandemic, we will enjoy sharing a friendly and conviviality moment.

 

The scientific program will cover formal sessions devoted but not limited to:

- Surface integrity in manufacturing processes, including:

·      Cutting, finishing and superfinishing processes

·      Forming

·      Non-conventional processes (laser machining, electro discharge machining, chemical machining,...)

·      Additive manufacturing and post processing

·      Surface treatments

- Surface and subsurface characterization methods (surface topography, residual stresses, microstructure)

- Modelling and simulation

- Advanced materials (metal, composite, ...) and coatings

- Surface engineering

- Surface integrity and the functional performance of components (Fatigue, Wear, Corrosion, ...)

Abstract submission: 30th september 2021

Paper submission: 16th december 2021
