Dear Colleagues,

 

On behalf of ABCM and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UFSC, it is my pleasure and honor to invite you to submit a contribution and to participate in the 26th International Congress of Mechanical Engineering - COBEM 2021, to be held online on November 22nd to 26th, 2021. In this event, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of COBEM's first edition that occurred in the UFSC Campus in Florianópolis in 1971.

 

We are all currently living through the COVID-19 pandemic and there is no certainty that the scenario will change to November. Therefore, health and humanitarian reasons have led the Organizing Committee, with the full support of ABCM's Board of Directors, to decide for a completely online event. The presentations, lectures, and all other activities will occur through an online platform designed for large online events. The platform will allow for oral presentations, presentation of posters, event and symposium lectures, committees and ABCM meetings, the Professor Leonardo Goldstein Jr. and ABCM-EMBRAER Prizes sections, and we are studying the possibility of developing online spaces to gather around. 

 

All attendees will access all activities from the comfort and safety of their home or office. We are placing our best efforts, in several ways, to guarantee the quality of the event and papers to value your presence and participation. 

 

Deadline for abstract submission: April 12, 2021.
