WCCM XIV & ECCOMAS 2020 – Minisymposium 81 Inverse Problems, Design and Optimization in Heat Transfer
19th to 24th July, 2020 – Paris, France

The objective of this minisymposium is to offer a forum on inverse, design and optimization problems in heat transfer. Contributions are particularly welcome on novel applications, such as in biomedicine, small scale processes, high temperatures and high pressures, materials design, as well as on statistical solution techniques, like those within the Bayesian framework.

The biennial Emerging Technology Forum (EFT) of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS) was held as parto f the ICAS Programme Committee (PC) Meeting from 9 to 13 September 2019 in Melbourne, Australia. It was co-hosted by the Royal Aeronautical Society Australian Division, Engineers Australia and RMIT University. The ETF activities took place in RMIT’s historic Storey Hall, located in downtown Melbourne. Joao Azevedo, from Brazil and ICAS PC Chair, led the ETF focusing on Digital Transformation in Aerospace, which had the participation of invited leaders and experts in this topic around the world.
