SAMUEL FAYAD FILHO

Serves as Director of Nuclear Fuel Production at Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil, the company responsible for the various stages of the fuel fabrication cycle in Brazil. Born in May 19, 1955 and raised in Rio de Janeiro. He is a graduate of Universidade Federal Fluminense (July 1977) as an electrical engineer, specializing in Electric Power Generation and Transmission Systems, and was confered a performance certificate from the Higher War College (Course of Higher Studies on Politics and Strategy).

Promoted the development of INB partnerships with Germany (AREVA NP and URENCO), South Africa (NECSA), Argentina (CONUAR), China (CJNF), South Korea (KNF and KNH), Spain (ENUSA), U.S. (Westinghouse and Oak Ridge), France (AREVA), India (NFC), United Kingdom (BNFL and URENCO), Japan (JNFL, Toshiba and Mitsubishi), Russia (ROSATOM), Sweden (Westinghouse), Ukraine (Energoatom).

With NUCLEBRAS ENRIQUECIMENTO ISOTÓPICO – NUCLEI and Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil (INB) started as an engineer and subsequently served as section head, division head, department head, technical support general manager and assistant to the Director. Left INB in 1995 and returned in 2003 to hold the office of Nuclear Fuel Production Director.
