Histórico Profissional

Dr. Alexander Eichberger studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. In 1987 he started his professional career at the German Aerospace Research Centre (DLR) where he worked on the field of multibody algorithms. In 1993 he did his doctors degree in Applied Mechanics at the University of Duisburg, Germany. During his PhD he developed recursive multi-body formalism for parallel computers. Also in 1993 he founded the company INTEC GmbH as an off-spring of DLR which developed the multi-body simulation package SIMPACK. As managing director he is responsible for the strategic business development and co-ordinates the activities in the field of real-time simulation.

O Dr. Alexander Eichberger estudou a engenharia mecânica na universidade técnica de Munich, Germany. Em 1987 começou sua carreira profissional no centro de pesquisa aeroespacial alemão (DLR) onde trabalhou no campo de algoritmos multibody. Em 1993 fêz seu grau dos doutores em mecânicos aplicados na universidade de Duisburg, Germany. Durante seu PhD desenvolveu o formalism recursive do multi-corpo para computadores paralelos. Também em 1993 fundou a companhia INTEC gmbH porque uma prole de DLR que desenvolveu o pacote SIMPACK da simulação do multi-corpo. Porque o diretor controlando ele é responsável para o desenvolvimento de negócio estratégico e coordena as atividades no campo da simulação real-time.

1987
The beginning of SIMPACK (as a modern successor to MEDYNA) at the German Aerospace Center DLR

1993
INTEC was founded by Dr. Alex Eichberger to offer engineering services to meet the industry demands for multi-body simulation. The focus of the development of SIMPACK was changed and became more customer driven.

1994
INTEC acquires worldwide exclusive distribution rights for SIMPACK.

1996
Dr. Lutz Mauer, a respected expert in railway engineering, joined the executive board and the company changed its legal status to a limited liability company, a GmbH. SIMPACK WHEEL/RAIL and AUTOMOTIVE+ opened the door for INTEC to the rail and automotive industry.

1998
SIMPACK went on the international market: licences were sold in Korea, England, Japan and USA.

1999
INTEC was prized as one of the 30 most successful companies as a spin-off from a research centre. The Federal President of Germany, Roman Herzog, recognised INTEC GmbH for its innovation and success.

2000
Due to the rapid expansion of the customer base staffing increased by 67% with INTEC now employing 25 engineers, a physicist, a mathematician, an economist and two secretaries.

2001
INTEC’s expansion required relocating to new offices which offer improved training facilities and private rooms for customers wishing to work with the INTEC staff. INTEC reinforces its activities in the field of real-time simulation.
